RECLAIM - 2011

In a time where the demise of a thriving industry brought about catastrophic change, a roving community find sanctuary in an abandoned pottery factory. Admist relics of a creative past, rediscovered treasures take on new meaning as the resourceful inhabitants reclaim the space around them.

Reclaim was created with dancers, musicians and school children from the Willows Primary School. This was the first event on the Spode Works, a former pottery factory which had been acquired by the city council after production stopped and the site closed in 2009.
